Ethics and Policy

Lumina, published by Daudnagar College, a constituent unit of Magadh University, is committed to maintaining the highest standards of academic integrity, transparency, and ethical publishing practices.

There is currently no fee for getting your papers/articles/creative works published in Lumina. We provide a complimentary copy of the journal free of cost to the contributing author(s).

All submitted manuscripts must be original, unpublished, and not under consideration elsewhere. The journal strictly adheres to UGC guidelines regarding plagiarism; every submission undergoes plagiarism screening prior to review. Any form of academic misconduct including plagiarism, data fabrication, falsification, or duplicate publication will result in immediate rejection and possible notification to the author’s institution.

Lumina follows a double-blind peer review process to ensure fairness, objectivity, and confidentiality. Reviewers evaluate submissions solely on academic merit, originality, methodological rigor, and relevance to the journal’s scope. Editorial decisions are independent and free from discrimination based on gender, language, institutional affiliation, or nationality.

Authors are responsible for the accuracy of their data, proper acknowledgment of sources, and disclosure of any potential conflicts of interest. The journal promotes inclusive, multilingual scholarship and encourages respectful academic dialogue.

As an open-access journal, Lumina ensures free and equitable access to knowledge while upholding ethical standards in research and publication.
